If service is not running, try using Compatibility Mode for the driver. Go into Bios and verify the service is available and enabled on the unit.

Mr Smittychat i have tried your steps restarted several times with chipsets, bios and FP driver installed them still i have same problem device is not able to start code 10 i did regedit and all other steps i did not find any fingerprint manager software in my programs.

The update you tried to install is not for your device. If the above models is not your device, Rollback to the previous version of Windows Not knowing which exact model you have, there is a driver for the reader. This site in other languages x.

I use a Lenovo Ideapad with Windows 11 upgraded from Windows 10 just a week ago. I always use it to run Adobe Premiere Pro to edit my assignments and I keep my project running on an external 1TB hard drive.

Now I’ve read online that Adobe apps apparently cause these BSoDs but it’s happening even when I’m not running Premiere Pro or even when my external hard disk is not connected. For example, if I’m just watching a video on Youtube, the cursor suddenly freezes and then my system crashes after a minute or two. It majorly happened when I had Windows So I installed the Windows 11 update after delaying it for about 2 weeks, thinking that Windows 11 might have new drivers that might solve the BSoD issue but that’s not the case.

It still crashes, sometimes twice in 10 minutes, sometimes once in 1 hour. It’s just very random. My local laptop repair guy first said it could be a faulty SSD I use a GB Kingston SSD , so he even sent it for repair and it came back around a week later but it clearly does not seem to have fixed the problem if there was any problem in the SSD.

I am uploading the zip file of some files the crashes have created since the 19th. It had been crashing yesterday as well 20th January and it crashed just a while ago.
